The minutes of the 27 Aug Board meeting were approved 18 Sep and are available for your review here . Some of the major items discussed at the meeting included:
- Board to assess merit of rezoning BW II from T-3 to R-! (residential)
- Appointed Pat Stettner (chair) and Cindy Muir as members of the ARC joining Amy Scott.
- Replacement of Speed Limit (19 MPH) signs and Entrance: Do Not Exit at front gate entry.
- New Pets on Leash and cleanup sign near boardwalk.
- Discussed/tabled standards for pond shoreline maintenance and ecosystem maintenance.
- Objectives for next year to include consolidation and restatement of the declarations (Covenants, By Laws, Rules)
- Budget for 2020 to include review of Capital Investment and Emergency Fund estimates to be prorated and included in Annual Budget.
- Gate coding, maintenance, remotes, signage, and landscaping.
- Drainage work to be done by TEXDOT, City of Port Aransas, and the Association to maximize available and planned drainage.
- Pool maintenance; irrigation repair; spa light repair; landscaping; and long range costs to be addressed in budget estimates.
- Financial Report and budget execution.
