The Beachwalk II N.U.D. Owners’ Association will hold our Annual Membership Meeting, as outlined in the Association Bylaws, on Saturday morning MARCH 7, 2020, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the meeting room at Hampton Inn & Suites on Hwy 361 in Port A.

The Bylaws specify an Order of Business as part of all membership meetings. This framework helps members assess the direction your Association will take the community; election of Directors to help lead that journey; and your approval of the funding to meet current operations and capital investment/emergency expenses. The Board of Directors urges each of you to attend.
The major actions required are:
- Ensure quorum (present or proxy) to conduct Association business.
- Proof of notice of the meeting
- Minutes from last year’s Annual Meeting
- Report from the President, Directors, Officers, and Committees of the Association
- Approval of the Budget for 2020 – provided 30 days prior to the meeting (This is something we plan to add to the Bylaws in the coming year)
- Election of Directors (filling the two director positions that open this year).
- Old (unfinished) Business and New Business
Decisions of the Association members require a quorum (50%) of authorized voters participating either in person or by proxy.
Because a quorum by way of attendance may be difficult to obtain, we ask that you complete the enclosed PROXY indicating the member that you specify to act as your proxy and return the document as soon as possible. This will help ensure the quorum required (50%) to conduct the Association business and avoid the necessity of a second meeting. If you later find you are able to attend the meeting in person, your Proxy will be surrendered to you at registration.
