COVID-19 creates a unique set of issues for communities; but as a gated beachfront community, Beachwalk II is well postured to limit the risk for our members.  Your association is ready to help any of our neighbors (full or part time resident) in any way we can.  We stand together – ready to help.  Together we will do our part to combat the spread of COVID-19 and will support and implement state and local restrictions and guidelines.

To that end, Beachwalk II will:

  • Reinforce restricted access to the community and make planned changes to gate codes in April (Effective date to be established).
  • for before/after use at gated entry keypad and at the wash station at the boardwalk entry/exit.  Hygiene per CDC guidance encouraged.
  • Continue contracted maintenance services (landscape, etc.).  Pool restrooms will receive a final cleaning and be closed until further notice.
  • Close the community pool, its deck, furnishings and restrooms effective immediately; remain closed until further notice.  All other “Common” areas remain accessible to members.
  • Honor and enforce state/local restrictions on gatherings in any common area (e.g. roads, ponds, boardwalk).
  • Ask members to abide by the same state/county/city limitations on gatherings in their homes.
  • Share no information through official association channels regarding known nor suspected infections within the community for the privacy of those concerned.
  • Schedule no Board nor Committee activities requiring in-person meetings until further notice.  Website, email, and text/phone will be maximized for association business.  Online meetings (e.g. NetMeeting; Zoom Video Conferencing) will be used for scheduled Board meetings.  Nextdoor will be used for unofficial discussions/alerts and to supplement notifications.
  • Schedule the June Board of Directors Meeting for virtual/online meeting environment (details to follow).
  • Follow CDC information and guidelines relating to COVID-19 as well as directives and guidelines from federal, state, and local government authorities; implement as appropriate.
