Email Ballot: Directors and Budget Approval

Watch for Email BWII Election and Budget Approval Ballot. COVID has driven us to the use of email for voting to meet the Covenants and Bylaws requirements for the BW II HOA for the 2021 Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting will be a Zoom supported meeting that includes the election of Directors to fill Board vacancies and approval of the Annual Budget (a requirement we are adding to the Declarations). Electronic (email) voting is authorized by Texas Code.

The voting opens tonight and will end 17 February at 12:00PM (noon); results of the vote will be announced at the Annual Meeting (20 Feb 2021 via Zoom). Your vote (one vote per lot/household) for the board positions and one vote for the approval of the Annual Budget (provided earlier) are essential for your association to meet the 50% quorum requirements outlined in the Bylaws.

The nominations to fill vacant Director positions were solicited in email to members in early January and ended 18 January. The two nominations received to fill the vacancies (created by end of 3 year term) are also currently serving in those positions. As they were the only nominations received, the Directors vote will be to approve their election to the Board of Directors by acclamation. The 2021 Budget to support the 2021 Goals and Objectives was provided to members via email earlier this month. The budget can also be reviewed on your association website at the link below.
